Stand For God

Scripture: Daniel 3: 17-18

“If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

Message:

The text above is an excerpt from the story of how Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego took a stand for God and defied the king’s orders. They knew the consequence of their defiance but they would rather die than bow to any lesser god. In the end, God came through for them.

Today, God is looking out for believers who will take a firm stand for Him. In a world full of sin, it is very important we take a firm stand for God and holiness.

Decide in your heart to serve God no matter what the world will throw at you. Don’t give in to temptations of worldly pleasure. Take a stand for holiness. Take a stand to be faithful to God.

As a young man/lady in Christ, take a firm stand against engaging in fornication or any other sexual sin. Stand for Christ in this corrupt world.

God never disappoints anyone who stands for Him. He will glorify His name in your life. Don’t compromise. Stand firmly for Christ.

Father, please give me the Grace to always stand for you in every situation. Amen.
