Find God and He Will Kick Your ‘Demons’ Out - Delay to Dhat Gyal

TV host and movie producer, Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay has in an interview led young musician Dhat Gyal to Christ Jesus

Dhat Gyal who was on Delay’s ‘The Delay Show’ on Thursday, August 26, 2021, narrated the circumstances that led to the death of her mother, her involvement in drugs, and how she was once upon a time raped.

She took the opportunity to counsel the young up-and-coming musician, who has been bedeviled with many unfortunate happenings at age 20 to find God to kick her ‘demons’ out.

“…And I think you should find God, and find him well. He will guide and you and the industry in which you want to enter, if you find Him (God), he will kick your demons out and help you to really discover yourself,” Delay to Dhat Gyal.

Delay confessed Dhat Gyal’s story in a way mirrored her life struggles when growing up but was lucky not to find herself with the wrong people.

“You remind me of when I was younger. My mother died; I am trying to find my way in the industry but luckily for me, I didn’t end up with the wrong company. I was lucky. I will say it was luck,” she explained.

Delay encouraged Dhat Gyal to keep hope alive, keep her eyes on the goal and avoid the bad company because bad company corrupts a good life.

“Stay away from drugs. It will destroy you. …don’t mess up your voice with the drugs. I want to be able to sit back and watch you succeed. I don’t want you to mess yourself up,” she advised almost in tears.
