Ghanaian Gospel worshipper cum presenter, OB Nartey has described the gospel music fraternity as having absolutely no agenda.
In his latest series of Facebook updates chanced upon by asiwomewrites.com, OB Nartey without mincing words described the gospel music fraternity as clueless of their purpose and mission.
He bemoans that while other gospel artists especially their Nigerians colleagues are breaking barriers into Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church, the Ghanaian Gospel musicians are busy playing and turning into Bishops, Revs, Apostles, Lady Revs, etc.
“Whiles your colleague Artists are breaking barriers, entering Lakewood and things. You’re here playing 👀 turning into Bishops Rev Apostles Lady Rev’s den things aaaw Gh Gospel
Our Ghanaian Gospel fraternity have absolutely no agenda. So clueless of their purpose and mission,” he posted.
Sinach is with the Lakewood Church. Tim Godfrey ft. Travis Green and Israel Houghton, Mercy Chiwo ft JJ Hairston, Steve Crown ft Phil Thompson, Nathaniel Bassey, Travis Green among others have all penetrated the Lakewood Church market leaving their Ghanaian gospel artists collaborating with secular musicians in the bid of soul winning.
OB Nartey further added that the Ghanaian gospel artists – secular artist collaboration has become necessary because the Ghanaian gospel musicians lack adequate content but rich in fashion.
“Ghanaian Gospel Artist ft Daddy Lumba KK fosu Adani best Amakye Dede Kwame Eugene, Keche Agraada🤣🤣🤣🤣 we want to win soul…Madam and Massa you no get content. Have you finished winning yourself,” he quizzed.
“Our churches sing Nigerian songs because it’s rich in content has protein fiber and nutritionally rich for the soul. As our own its rich in clothes makeups dancers flowers revenge insults “ekutai” etc. No agenda no focus,” he added.
OB called for unity in the gospel fraternity. A fraternity divided among itself he reiterated shall not stand.
“Ghana Gospel must rise again,” he declared.

Mount Rushmore Fireworks Display Ill Advised – Fire Expert
A fire expert said a planned fireworks display at the Mount Rushmore is ‘’ill-advised’’ due to the abnormally dry conditions and summer wildfires.
A fire expert has said a July 3 fireworks display at the Mount Rushmore National Memorial is ‘’ill-advised’’ due to the abnormally dry conditions and summer wildfires.
The event is expected to attract over 7,500 revellers with the president of the United States, Donald Trump in attendance.
The former fire management officer for Mount Rushmore, Bill Gabbert said shooting fireworks over ponderosa pine forest is extremely flammable and should not be done.
“Burning debris, the burning embers and unexploded shells fall into a ponderosa pine forest and ponderosa pine is extremely flammable,” said Gabbert.
The Mount Rushmore fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day has since 2009 not been observed due to a fire danger after a pine beetle infestation.
The U.S. Drought Monitor recently labelled almost all of southwestern South Dakota including most of the Black Hills as ‘’abnormally dry.’’
However, the National Park Service, which manages the memorial, has assured that fireworks display at Mount Rushmore poses only a slight fire risk.
Ian Fury, Republican Government Kristi Noem’s communication director revealed that the park service in April has taken several precautions, including performing an environmental assessment and conducting a large burn within the memorial’s borders.
