I’ll collaborate if your lifestyle is pleasing to God – Ohemaa Mercy

Gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy says she will only collaborate with a secular musician based on the person’s lifestyle.

Adding her voice to the controversy on the gospel musician and secular musician collaborations, the ‘Oti Mi Mu’ hitmaker said the lifestyle of the musician will be the determining factor.

She explained to JoyNews’ Becky on EVibes that the musician’s lifestyle must be pleasing to God to consider collaboration besides being positive minded.

“I think it’s the lifestyle. I have lots of friends that are secular musicians. But I’ll select them because I will love to be with positive people that have a lifestyle that speaks volumes,” she said.

“And so if I will choose anyone, specifically secular musician, is the lifestyle that will draw me to do it,” she added.

Ohemaa Mercy is a Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer with several awards to her name.

Ohemaa Mercy entered the Ghana gospel music industry in 2004 which also saw the birth of her album that same year which brought her into the limelight.
