Anas Aremeyaw Anas is optimistic the former president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will not dare face him at the law court for entrapment.
The latest piece by the multiple award winning journalist dubbed ‘Number 12’ captured several football and officials on camera receiving monies suspected to be bribes.
Kwesi Nyantakyi who was at the centre of the scandal, following the premiering of the video on the expose’ resigned from FIFA, CAF and GFA and is currently serving a 90-day ban from the world football governing body, while investigations are underway.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas, despite receiving plaudits from many Ghanaian has faced criticisms from few people who are against his modus operandi.
Kwesi Nyantakyi has sued Anas for defamation of character, following the expose’, yet the latter believes there is no way the former will face him at the law court.
“When I say that you have committed a crime, it means you have done it because I provide you with evidence. I am a lawyer and I take evidence very serious because if I don’t I will end up going into jail myself,” he spoke with TV3.
“All the court cases he is talking about, he is not going to do it, he knows, he knows very, very well. As far as we go by the strict rules and regulations that are supposed to govern a football guru like him, he will not get it, he will lose it.
“When I was doing Osu children’s home, that was not entrapment, when I was doing the judges, it was not entrapment. Are football people more human than judges?” Anas questioned.
Kwesi Nyantakyi is currently under police investigation despite refusing to accept any wrongdoing

Many Musicians Are Receiving GHAMRO Royalties They Don’t Deserve – Rex Omar
The Ghana Music Right Organization – GHAMRO has over the years been faced with its inability to institute a logging system for proper royalty distribution.
This challenge has caused an anomaly in the even distribution of royalties collected that is due to the musicians whose properties are currently being used.
Rex Omar, chairman of GHAMRO in an interview with asiwomewrites.com, your credible blog for entertainment and showbiz news, views and reviews explained the challenge is because the logging system is still being piloted.
“The problem we are having and encountering at GHAMRO is because we have not started using the logging system in its entirety. A lot of people are receiving monies that are not supposed to and the musicians whose music is currently being used also don’t receive their due,” Rex Omar explained.
The Chairman also alleged that the erstwhile Carlos Sakyi administration registered people who received royalties for no registered property which the logging system when fully operational will resolve.
Rex Omar further hinted that GHAMRO is going to face a lot more problems with their next distribution because more musicians will be receiving meager royalties but those whose songs are being used will receive more.
He, however, assured members that though the wind of the law grinds slowly, the organization is determined to retrieve an amount of GHC 2,113,803.93 made up of bank transactions and several withdrawals unaccounted for by the Carlos Sakyi, K. K. Kabobo led administration as revealed from the 2012 – 2016 audit reports of GHAMRO.
