According to Celestine Donkor on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z said’

“I think the gospel music industry is like a coin. It has two sides; it is 100% ministry on one side of the coin and 100% business on the other side.”

“Anybody who says that you can operate on one side, which is the ministry, without the business, is not in for a serious place in the industry. Also, anyone being on the business side of the coin without considering the ministry side is not complete.”

She stated that although people chastise gospel artists for charging to perform in churches, she believes that the church is the marketplace for artists.
