Citi TV has unveiled ten (10) contestants for its music talent discovery competition, Voice Factory 2019.
The 4th edition which was previously organized by Citi Fm took place at the premises of Citi FM/Citi TV was hosted by AJ Akuoko-Sarpong. The ceremony had media persons, musicians, bloggers, families of the contestants and the general public in attendance.
The ten (10) contestants who proved their mettle after a two-day audition are Samuel Adjasoo, Stephen Baidoo Worgloh, Joel Boyson, Kenny Kings, and Genevieve Antwi-Nuamah.
The rest are Franklin Konadu, Ababio Joana, Deborah Aflakpui, Charisma and Sandra Ntiful Idara.
The selected singers will from Saturday, June 29, 2019, compete for the ultimate prize of GHC 10,000 in weekly live performances for 13 weeks, showing every Saturday at 7 pm. The second and third winners will receive GHC 5,000 and GHC 3,000 respectively.
The judges for the main competition are music producer, Kaywa, rapper EL and gospel musician, Edinam Bright-Davies. They will also train and groom the contestants to nurture their musicianship.
The program which started in 2009 had artists Fritz Hehetror, Melody Wilson, Natasha Odoi emerging as winners.
‘Voice Factory’ will be aired on Citi TV with support from Citi FM.
