VIDEO: Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz In Near Fight at TV3

Ghana’s entertainment industry has in the week experienced lyrical beef among some female musicians including Fella Makafui, Sista Afia, Eno Barony, Freda Rhymz and Sister Derby.

The lyrical rap battle which had Sista Afia, Eno Barony and Freda Rhymz as core players has in a recent report generated into a physical fight.

In a report by TV3’s MzGee this morning revealed that Sista and Freda Rhymz were engaged in verbal exchanges that nearly resulted into a fight except for the timely intervention of those around at the forecourt of TV3.

In a video in circulation on social media has Sista Afia beaming with threats and her shoes removed ready to beat up Freda Rhymz.

It will be recalled that Sista Afia in her reply diss ‘U Got Nerves’ threatened to beat Freda Rhymz.

The audio which was released on March 18, 2020, is described as a sermonette that strengthens the faith of believers who are going through struggles, addictions and under yokes to look up to God, who is the victor in all battles.

Charterhouse Destroyed The Reputation of Ghana Comedy – DKB

DKB, Ghanaian comedian has blamed Charterhouse Ghana for tarnishing and destroying the reputation of Ghana comedy.

The comedian, born Derick Kobina Bonney in an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Ghana Weekend TV blamed Charterhouse for paving the way for all the disrespect which literally destroyed the reputation of Ghanaian comedians.

“I blame charterhouse for setting the precedent for all the disrespect and dishonor going on because if it hadn’t come out to tarnish our image, to destroy our reputation as comedians, I think people wouldn’t have the chance to do the same,” DKB said.

Described as the King of Ghana comedy, DKB explained that Charterhouse, the organizers of the annual comedy and music event, “Night of 1000 Laughs” hailed more praises on Nigeria comedy over Ghana comedy and comedians.

“Why am I saying so? Charterhouse came out to hail praises on Nigeria comedy and literally insult Ghana comedy, from 2010 to 2014,” he stated.

DKB, however, admitted that though some opportunities have always been given to Ghanaian comedians, it does not suffice because,

“if you kill my mother and pay my school fees for one term, you’ve done something right,” he quizzed.
